The Associate Administrator – Communicable Disease and Epidemiology (CD-Epi) Director provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for the Chelan-Douglas Health District's Communicable Disease and Epidemiology Division. The Director is responsible for protecting and improving community health through communicable disease prevention and control, epidemiologic surveillance, outbreak response, assessment, and public health preparedness. As a member of the Health District's leadership team, the Director collaborates with the Health Administrator, Deputy Administrator, Health Officer, Board of Health, regional partners, and state agencies to advance the District's mission of preventing disease, promoting health, and protecting the health and safety of the community. The Director provides leadership for departmental operations, personnel, budgeting, grant management, quality improvement, and organizational planning while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and funding requirements.
