USA Volleyball (USAV) is the national governing body for beach, indoor, sitting, snow, and para-beach volleyball in the United States with over 500,000 members, responsible for selecting the Olympic & Paralympic volleyball teams. USA Volleyball also supports a network of regional associations, youth and junior programs, national championships, coaching and officials training, grassroots development, and the SafeSport initiative. The Director, Club Programming is a full-time position reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO). This role leads the design, delivery, and scale-up of USA Volleyball grassroots and club-adjacent programming and cultivates a culture of premium club services across the broader USAV ecosystem. This role focuses on turning strategic priorities and the USAV Athlete Development Model (ADM) into practical, repeatable program models such as Try Volleyball, camps, recreational or developmental programming, and other participation pathways that expand access and strengthen long-term athlete engagement. The role also provides strategic leadership for the club ecosystem by setting the vision, priorities, and operating approach for club-facing programming and related partnership-based growth opportunities, and by overseeing a manager of club relationships, to ensure strong field alignment and adoption. Essential is to foster and exhibit a sense of inclusion, safety, and collaborative behavior across the organization, developing a culture that manifests integrity, humility and consummate professionalism. Extended hours may be required to include nights, weekends and holidays. The position is located in Irvine, CA.
