Requirements

High school diploma or equilvalent, with 12+ years of healthcare experience with 8+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare or manufacturing facility.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or HSPA (IAHCSMM). If not certified at point of hire, it must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Experience with project management, process improvement, and strategic planning.
Must possess solid managerial, analytical, organizational skills, and financial acumen.
Must possess effective negotiating and influence skills.
Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of healthcare experience with 6+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare facility.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement.
Experience with instrument tracking software and employee management systems.
Strong knowledge of Sterile Processing, Operating Room, and Material Management functions.
Strong medical instrument knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team across multiple onsite sterile processing departments, ensuring exceptional service delivery and achievement of contractual commitments.
Drive employee engagement, retention, and a culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with business development partners and customer stakeholders to establish, communicate, and manage expectations while ensuring successful contract execution.
Build strong relationships with executive and operational customer leaders, conducting regular business reviews focused on KPIs, performance results, and strategic objectives.
Ensure achievement of customer KPIs and service level expectations across all assigned locations.
Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and tracking measurable outcomes.
Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen customer partnerships through consistent delivery of value and results.
Optimize staffing, resource allocation, and workforce planning to meet operational demands and contract requirements across multiple sites.
Lead the implementation of operational processes, policies, new services, product conversions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards while maintaining operational excellence and quality outcomes.
Manage financial performance, including budget and P&L accountability, while driving cost savings through process improvement and team development.
Analyze non-conformances, performance trends, and operational data to develop and execute strategic improvement plans that align with business objectives.
