About The Position
The Director of the Center for Same Day Surgery is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating Clinical Services. Major responsibilities include ensuring the quality of services provided.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Five (5) years in a nursing leadership position
- Five (5) years experience in clinical specialty
- A minimum of three (3) years in a tertiary care hospital
- Effective communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Demonstrate high level of performance
- Ability to integrate, coordinate and facilitate ideas/programs/staff
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and facilitate change
- Problem-solving skills
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification must be completed prior to end of orientation period
Nice To Haves
- A Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business, or Health Administration
