Requirements

  • Bachelors required and 12+ years of experience in product management or channel sales operations
  • Strong leadership skills and a track record of being a proven people manager
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are required. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external personnel at various levels
  • Strong written, visual, and verbal presentation skills are required, as the role involves both internal and external presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decisions and product decisions is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and defend opinions based on data and structured analysis

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA and 10+ years of relevant experience is preferred
  • Experience in the Wearables, Audio, Power, Mobile Phone Accessory space is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with a geographically distributed team a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Category Managers
  • Develop comprehensive strategy for product launches into our national retail and mobile carrier partners, including communication of new product specifications, schedules and targets to Channel Sales and Marketing teams
  • Lead interaction with sales teams to sell in new mobile enhancements products by providing category insights, sell in preparation materials as well as launch actives and promotional strategy
  • Serve as control tower by partnering with Marketing and channel leads to develop comprehensive marketing and launch strategies, including: channel marketing programs, investment strategy, and messaging to bring product vision to life
  • Work cross-functionally with SEA Mobile Enhancement Business Operations and Channel Sales Teams to capture and load product forecasts and purchase orders
  • Manage promotional calendar and pricing communications and reporting of sell through and promotional performance
  • Perform competitive intelligence periodic reports, produce in-depth analysis of gaps/opportunities, Voice of the Customer (VOC), and take corrective actions
  • Development of slides, reports and presentations for use in internal meetings and reporting
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects
  • Review detailed product development, marketing documents and media materials as needed
