About The Position

The Director-Category Integrated Power Systems is a global leadership role responsible for defining and delivering a best‑in‑class power solutions portfolio that sets the industry standard for performance, quality, design, and customer value. This role owns the end‑to‑end category strategy, from new product introduction through lifecycle management and sunset decisions, while driving profitable growth worldwide. Acting as the foremost internal and external champion for the category, the Director translates deep market insight, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into a compelling vision and executable roadmap, ensuring Rehlko’s Power Systems remain agile, differentiated, and market‑leading across diverse global regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with a preference for a degree with a technical focus.
  • 5 years in marketing management experience.
  • Strong financial acumen with practical experience is preferred
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Own global portfolio in the specified category, including introduction of new products and sunset of existing products.
  • Manage the program management effort to introduce new or improved products, perform cost analysis, and provide P&L projections to justify recommendations for all Power Systems worldwide.
  • Create product category that is superior to competitors in every way ie, best in class performance, benefits, quality and design.
  • Quickly reacting to changing markets and conditions, capitalizing on unforeseen opportunities and reprioritizing resources if needed.
  • Serve as global internal and external spokesperson for the category, creating and communicating a compelling vision, demonstrating complete strategy ownership and passion for the category.
  • Establish strong global and local understanding across multiple markets, regions, and customers priorities.
  • Identify cross-market opportunities and translate to global products, while understanding regional variations.
  • Conduct competitive analysis studies and prepare product and marketing information that supports the strategic plan of the category.
  • Directs the activities of marketing research involved in identification of market potential, distribution trends, research, analysis of sales records, and problem identification which are in support of and at the request of Product Managers.
  • Communicate with customers to determine new market potential and pricing necessary to expand market penetration.
  • Validate the budget for trade shows, conventions, and meetings to match the category strategies.
  • Validate advertising and promotional programs designed to support and penetrate existing markets as well as new product introductions.
  • Direct and plan training programs, which ensure that all customers have a comprehensive working knowledge of Kohler products.
  • Maintain continual liaison with global PS Advertising in the preparation of advertising campaigns to ensure they are consistent with the Marketing Plan.
  • Occasional contact with vendors through Purchasing and Engineering for technical data and field service experience.
