Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current Nevada RN license
  • Valid BLS/ACLS certifications
  • At least 10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
  • Minimum of 5 years managing patient care services within a complex surgical or cardiovascular environment
  • Proven track record of physician alignment
  • Proven track record of operational excellence
  • Ability to drive business development
  • Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and patient safety

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • For candidates with exceptional experience: Master's degree in nursing or related healthcare discipline combined with additional job-related experience in lieu of degree
  • Medical Degree holders: M.D. or D.O with board certification in surgery or anesthesiology
  • Doctor of Medicine: NV (MD:NV)
  • Doctor Osteopathic Medicine: NV (DO:NV)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily administrative, operational, and clinical functions of cardiovascular and perioperative services, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Monitor quality metrics, optimize staffing and resource utilization through effective budget management, and implement evidence-based clinical practices.
  • Collaborate with market operational leaders and sister facilities to share best practices, streamline workflows, and ensure safe, consistent, and efficient care delivery.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for Cardiovascular and Perioperative Services within the assigned facility.
  • Partner with the Market Vice President of Strategy, Growth & Operations, Strategy & Business Development, Sales, physicians, and market operational leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure departmental competency and compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards governing Cardiovascular and Perioperative Services.
  • Develop, manage, and justify annual operating and capital budgets for Cardiovascular and Perioperative Services.
  • Lead initiatives that promote standardized clinical practices, operational workflows, and evidence-based care throughout Cardiovascular and Perioperative Services.
