About The Position

This role focuses on achieving quality and financial accuracy for a business area by developing and implementing quality improvement processes and programs. The Director will evaluate operations, ensure follow-up audits and corrective actions are completed, and establish new or improved processes and procedures to increase operational performance and profitability. They will also resolve workflow issues, develop approaches to minimize variances, and ensure systems produce accurate results. Communication of best practices, current concerns, and corrective actions, along with developing action plans for operational execution, are key. The role involves directing the preparation of proposals, contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures that meet regulatory requirements, ensuring procedures are followed, and developing systems, processes, and documentation for information management. This includes conducting and communicating evaluations, ensuring compliance with business goals and metrics, and recommending efficiency improvements. The Director will drive projects by advising team members, managing project schedules, budgets, and risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and communicating project strategy. Research, analysis, and reporting activities will be managed by reviewing and adjusting business processes, establishing service metrics and goals, creating and overseeing research guidelines, collecting and analyzing variance reports, and communicating results to cross-functional teams and vendors. The role provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs, developing and implementing business strategies, analyzing costs and forecasts, determining resource requirements, evaluating operational processes, and identifying improvement opportunities. Additionally, the Director will develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a skilled workforce through talent development, mentorship, and succession planning. Cultivating an environment of integrity and ethics, developing partnerships, and fostering a culture of belonging are also critical aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years’ experience in operations, retail, project management, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in operations, retail, project management, or related area.
