About The Position

The Director, 340B Optimization will lead the development and execution of the 340B capture optimization capability across the customer portfolio. This role will use claims data and deep 340B expertise to identify eligible volume that is not currently being captured, quantify the financial opportunity, and translate those insights into measurable value for customers and growth for the business. The Director will also serve as the business owner of the 340B TPA platform, connecting 340B operations, analytics, compliance, technology, and commercial strategy to maximize platform capabilities and drive greater customer value and adoption.

Requirements

8+ years of progressive experience in 340B, pharmacy operations, pharmacy analytics, healthcare technology, or related functions.
Deep 340B expertise, including strong knowledge of claims qualification, eligibility requirements, program compliance, and audit considerations.
Demonstrated experience building or significantly scaling 340B claims-qualification, capture optimization, or related capabilities within a complex pharmacy or healthcare environment.
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to personally analyze complex claims data, identify patterns and opportunities, quantify financial impact, and translate findings into business action.
Working knowledge of 340B TPA platforms and the claims data, workflows, and business processes that support them.
Experience translating analytics and operational insights into customer value, commercial opportunities, and measurable financial results.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across Operations, Technology, Product, Analytics, Compliance, Customer Success, and Commercial teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze client claims data to identify eligible 340B volume that is not currently being captured and quantify the financial opportunity by customer.
Apply deep 340B expertise to distinguish legitimate capture opportunities from claims that do not qualify, ensuring recommendations are compliant, defensible, and audit-ready.
Develop a disciplined approach to measuring capture performance, identifying gaps, prioritizing opportunities, and tracking realized value across the customer portfolio.
Build and scale a claims-analysis capability across the 340B business, beginning with hands-on analysis and evolving to scalable internal tools, analytics, and/or strategic partnerships as the value is proven.
Translate capture optimization findings into clear, actionable customer opportunities, demonstrating where eligible 340B savings may be missed and how additional value can be realized.
Partner with Commercial, Customer Success, and 340B leadership to convert identified opportunities into increased program participation, customer value, and business growth.
Support value-based commercial strategies, including at-risk and gain-share models where appropriate.
Provide data-driven insights that strengthen customer relationships, retention, and utilization of Omnicell's 340B solutions.
Serve as the business owner for the 340B TPA platform, defining business requirements, capabilities, priorities, and roadmap needs in partnership with Technology and Product.
Leverage the claims data underlying the platform to improve capture performance, customer insights, and overall platform value.
Connect operational, analytical, compliance, and commercial needs to ensure platform capabilities support the evolving needs of the 340B business and its customers.
Ensure capture optimization strategies align with applicable 340B requirements and organizational compliance standards.
Establish appropriate validation and controls to ensure identified opportunities are audit-defensible and do not introduce inappropriate capture or clawback risk.
Partner with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders as optimization capabilities and commercial models are developed and expanded.
