The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Medical Education has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Director, Business Operations to work in Miami, FL. The Director, Business Operations evaluates, administers, and directs all business and administrative matters including budget, operations, programs, and personnel administration for the assigned department. This position also provides financial analysis and strategic planning, as well as oversees the budgetary controls in partnership with various levels of management. The Director of Curriculum Operations serves as a key leadership position within the Office of Curriculum at the Miller School of Medicine, reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Curriculum and the Executive Director of Medical Education. This role is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of the delivery, management, and continuous improvement of the MD curriculum, including budget management, resource allocation, personnel administration, and program operations. The role leads and directs curriculum systems, scheduling, delivery infrastructure, and cross-functional coordination across Curriculum Operations, Student Affairs, Faculty Affairs, and Information Technology to support a high-quality learner-centered educational experience. The Director partners with academic leadership to execute strategic priorities, ensure compliance with LCME accreditation standards University policies, and drive operational efficiency through data-informed decision-making and continuous process improvement.
