About The Position

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring a Director of Business Engineering. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for key components of our core business processing environment. You’ll direct application services initiatives across the enterprise (including ownership of Facets benefit and provider configuration) and guide business transformation. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment
10 years - Configuration experience, including experience with the Facets system required.
1 year - Experience with large scale projects
5 years - Operational management experience required
Demonstrated skill in configuration and testing techniques with a comprehensive knowledge of Facets Core Processing System.
Proven organizational, technical, analytical, and problem solving skills are required.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Teams.
Organized and capable of managing multiple assignments or projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal abilities.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Directing and managing the delivery of large or complex application development projects.
Defining strategies and client needs focused on technology development.

Directing reviews of tools and technologies for improving performance and reducing costs.
