Requirements

  • Proven experience selling into hyperscalers, data centers, or large energy‑intensive customers
  • Track record of closing complex, multi‑stakeholder infrastructure or energy deals
  • Deep understanding of how hyperscalers buy (procurement, technical approval, commercial decision flow)
  • Background in power generation, microgrids, critical infrastructure, or industrial energy systems
  • Ability to operate autonomously and influence without hierarchy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at or selling against companies such as Cummins, GE Vernova, ABB, Siemens Energy, or leading microgrid developers
  • Engineering or technical education combined with strong commercial acumen
  • MBA or advanced business education

Responsibilities

  • Originate and close new business with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and data center developers
  • Build senior‑level relationships across real estate, energy, infrastructure, and procurement teams
  • Position BorgWarner’s industrial power and microgrid solutions as reliable, scalable, and commercially viable
  • Lead complex, long‑cycle deal development from first engagement through commercial close
  • Shape customer‑driven product roadmaps and value propositions in collaboration with engineering and product teams
  • Represent BorgWarner externally at customer meetings, industry events, and strategic partner discussions
  • Provide structured market intelligence on competitors, pricing models, and buying behavior
