Requirements

  • A strong track record of success in business development and/or strategic account management within the CRO, pharma, biotech, or broader life sciences technology market.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new business pipeline and close complex, multi-stakeholder SaaS deals.
  • Experience growing and retaining existing enterprise accounts, with a track record of expansion within an existing client base.
  • Working knowledge of the CRO landscape and the drug development lifecycle, and how Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) fits within it.
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • A data-driven, consultative approach to selling, comfortable using data to build a compelling business case.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or strategic account management, ideally within CRO, pharma, biotech, or life sciences SaaS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ICH E6(R3) and evolving RBQM regulatory guidance.
  • Experience using AI-augmented sales tools to support prospecting, account planning, or deal execution.
  • Additional language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new CRO partnership opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers at contract research organizations across North America.
  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing CRO accounts, deepening relationships and identifying opportunities to expand CluePoints’ footprint within each account.
  • Build and execute account plans and territory strategy, prioritizing opportunities based on commercial potential and strategic fit.
  • Lead the full sales cycle for CRO opportunities — from prospecting and needs discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align CluePoints’ RBQM and Data Quality Oversight solutions to CRO client needs.
  • Track and forecast pipeline and account activity accurately within CRM systems, providing clear visibility on progress against targets.
