As a member of the Brand & Retail Governance team, you’ll lead a high-performing group responsible for overseeing CIBC’s brand standards and guidelines, as well as retail-owned channels and client-focused communications. As Director, Brand & Retail Governance, you’ll shape and elevate CIBC’s brand presence by owning and maintaining global brand guidelines, tone of voice standards, and brand architecture frameworks—ensuring consistency in how CIBC presents itself visually and verbally across all channels and geographies, both externally and internally. You’ll drive the strategy and messaging calendar for retail-owned channels and lead client communications through strategic email marketing initiatives. By delivering strategic support, guidance, and brand advocacy across the bank, you’ll position your team as trusted advisors and partners. Your leadership will ensure a cohesive and meaningful brand experience throughout the enterprise, making a lasting difference in how CIBC is perceived. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
