DIR, BIOMEDICAL SERVICES II-Worcester
About The Position
The Director Biomedical Services II is responsible for ensuring repairs and calibration services are performed on patient care and support equipment within the facility. The role supervises, trains, and directs biomedical technicians and other support staff; administers the asset management software program and ensures its validity; and oversees timely work order administration. The director also administers on-call, maintenance, and inspection schedules, reviews and approves purchase orders, and reviews financial statements and budget preparation with senior management. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Certification and/or an Associate Degree in Electronics/Biomedical Technology.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the biomedical field.
- A minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge, ability, and willingness to perform the duties of a biomedical technician.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
