About The Position

Responsible for the development and implementation of a behavioral science rotation for the residents, including lectures, conferences and other educational activities focusing on aspects of behavioral science. Supervises residents in doctor/patient encounters from a behavioral science point of view.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in the behavioral science field.
• Experience in teaching.
• Experience in psychotherapy.
• Experience working in a team situation with adults.
• Proficient in the use of computer to send and receive email and create Word documents and Powerpoint presentations.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Nice To Haves

• A doctorate.
• Professional certification in a state or nationally recognized behavioral science group.
• Prior experience with the practice of medicine, in both the hospital and office setting.
