About The Position

The Goddard School located in Corinth, Texas is looking for a motivated, self-starter for a Director or an Assistant Director position at our School. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of a developmentally appropriate learning program for young children. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and the ability to motivate and inspire others. The assistant director's responsibilities include overseeing the operations of the School, specifically focusing on State licensing and Goddard's safety standards, relationship building, faculty training & development, and educational progress. This role involves using a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the School for the future, developing strong relationships with families, managing a budget, and complying with state childcare licensing regulations. The position requires projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, and having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education.

Requirements

Director's accreditation, Associate or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or CDA
Must have childcare experiences as a teacher and in management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
An inspirational leader and team builder
Proactive about building relationships with new families and maintaining high enrollment to make sure the students have access to the best curriculum available
Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
