Director, Applied AI
About The Position
American Tower is seeking a Director of Applied AI to join its Data and Analytics team within IT. This role is responsible for advancing enterprise insights, decision intelligence, and AI-enabled value creation across the company. The Director will develop and operationalize machine learning models, generative AI systems, Agentic AI solutions, and autonomous decisioning capabilities to achieve measurable business outcomes. Key responsibilities include identifying high-value opportunities, designing experiments, building production-grade models and agents, and ensuring continuous monitoring and safe operation. This role requires close collaboration with Data Engineering, Data Product and Adoption, Data Strategy and Governance, and Technology teams to deliver scalable, high-impact AI and Agentic AI solutions.
