Job Title Director, Application Support What does a successful Director, Application Support do at Fiserv? A successful Director of Application Support leads production control for Deposit Solutions in the Financial Institutions Group, owning operational excellence for production activities that support leading U.S. financial software services. They partner across engineering, product, operations and client teams to keep production stable, secure and efficient. They drive continuous improvement to maintain reliable, compliant production operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in production control, production operations, or equivalent operations leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams responsible for mission‑critical production environments.
• Proven track record delivering operational metrics, leading incident resolution, and driving continuous improvement initiative
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education, work and military experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in financial services and payments domains.
• Hands-on familiarity with secure file transfer systems, monitoring tools, and incident management frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead the production control team by defining strategy, policies and procedures and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, automation and innovation.
• Monitor and analyze production performance metrics; identify and implement improvements to availability, throughput and quality, and present performance reports and risk assessments to senior management.
• Coordinate cross-functional production activities with engineering, product, operations and client teams to ensure timely, error‑free delivery and effective incident response.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and service degradations with urgency, clear communication and documented post‑incident actions.
• Manage and optimize secure file transmission and data transfer processes while ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
