About The Position

As Director, Analytics at Conga, you will lead the strategy, development, and delivery of data-driven insights across the organization. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling analytics capabilities that support decision-making across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution—partnering closely with business leaders to translate data into actionable insights. You’ll oversee reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics while continuously improving our data infrastructure, governance, and scalability. At Conga, data is a critical driver of how we operate, prioritize, and grow. The Director, Analytics plays a central role in enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the business by delivering accurate, timely, and actionable insights. This role helps shape company strategy by uncovering trends, identifying opportunities, and providing the analytical foundation for executive and board-level decisions. From pipeline performance to customer retention to product usage, this leader ensures we are leveraging data as a competitive advantage. In addition, this role is responsible for building scalable analytics processes and systems, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of data across the organization. The impact is both strategic and operational—driving alignment, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy.
  • Leadership experience in a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering insights that influence business outcomes.
  • Led teams responsible for reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
  • Trusted advisor to senior leaders, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Deep experience in data analysis, KPI development, and performance measurement across key business functions (Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance).
  • Ability to connect the dots between datasets and uncover meaningful insights.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve how data is used across the organization.
  • Understand the importance of data quality, governance, and scalability.
  • Experience building or optimizing analytics infrastructure and processes that support a growing organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar
  • Strong experience with SQL and working with large, complex datasets
  • Familiarity with data platforms and warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Experience working with CRM systems like Salesforce and integrating business data sources
  • Experience with forecasting, predictive modeling, or statistical analysis
  • Ability to apply data science concepts to drive deeper insights
  • Demonstrated success partnering with GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) and Product organizations
  • Ability to influence strategy through data storytelling and insight generation
  • Track record of building and scaling analytics functions, including KPI frameworks and standardized reporting
  • Experience establishing data governance and quality standards
  • High bar for accuracy and integrity in data.
  • Build processes that ensure consistency and reliability, and when issues arise, address root causes and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Thrive in a cross-functional environment, leveraging relationships, data, and tools to solve complex problems.
  • Naturally curious, continuously seeking new ways to improve how the organization uses data to drive outcomes.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
