About The Position

Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create must-have research, market predictions and best practices for a broad range of world-leading organizations. A Director Analyst possesses a keen eye for identifying problems and creating solutions within the market they serve. They use their knowledge to help clients make better decisions, solve complex issues, and execute new practices that propel clients’ businesses toward key objectives. A Director Analyst publishes these insights as pragmatic and/or provocative research. Additionally, they reinforce Gartner’s value every day by engaging clients via virtual meetings, sales support, Gartner conferences and industry events. The successful candidate is an expert in Data Management with experience in Agentic Data Management, its applicability to different use cases within the Organization and how they can be achieved. Candidates must have real world implementation experience of Agentic Data Management as opposed to understanding the theory or having worked on only proof of concept projects. The candidate will focus on written and customer-facing deliverables to support Data & Analytics Leaders who face the challenges of improving/establishing Data Management Initiatives.

Requirements

Experience with Agentic Data Management, delivered live projects and understanding the challenges, use cases and technology.
Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Professional Qualification, or 10+ years direct experience in a field related to Data and Analytics.
Knowledge of core Vendors in Agentic Data Management, the products they offer and the core capabilities.
Familiarity with Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) initiatives, goals, objectives, and business value ROI.
Ability to confidently speak to C-Level Executives and provide actionable insights or explain concepts targeted and relatable to their role.
Strong organizational skills: ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables.
Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability.
Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions.
Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality actionable advice through a variety of media.
Write provocative and pragmatic research that is clear and actionable.
Provide high quality and timely research content peer review.
Create and deliver presentations for webinars, onsite engagements, and Gartner conferences.
Track vendors, market trends and emerging practices to remain ahead of the curve within these areas, and adjacent spaces (e.g., digital transformation, culture change, and quality practices).
Deliver outstanding sales support to retain and grow the Gartner business.
Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner research, methodology and strategy.
Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions and collaborate effectively with peers in the research community.
Identify research process improvements or develop new processes that help the team and Research & Advisory provide excellent service delivery.
Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team members.
