About The Position

Seeking an execution-focused Director Cybersecurity Program Manager in the Chief Security Office (CSO) – Emerging Technology / AI Security and Innovation organization. You will drive the end-to-end execution, integration, communication, and operational cadence of the CSO AI Program within a dynamic and rapidly evolving technology environment. This role complements the AI Security Director, who owns technical strategy and architecture, by driving AI program execution, cross functional coordination, delivery discipline, and communication across the enterprise. The role serves as the single source of truth for AI Security program execution, ensuring alignment between strategy, delivery commitments, resourcing, and outcomes. The candidate will bring deep cybersecurity expertise, delivery and execution leadership, expert program management skills, and the ability to translate complex, AI‑driven security initiatives into measurable operational outcomes, including driving OKR's, KPI's, KRI's, KCI's and any/all other metric reporting needed to effectively represent the functions, capabilities, execution, and effectiveness of CSO AI program tools and development initiatives. This role requires strategic thinking, technical depth, executive‑level communication skills, and proven experience managing delivery across multiple, concurrent AI-driven cybersecurity initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (MS/MA) desired in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, program and project management, cyber operations, threat intelligence, or security delivery roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or governing complex cybersecurity delivery initiatives or technology programs, preferably involving AI, automation, or advanced analytics.
  • Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels within highly dynamic environments.
  • Expert knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence operations, and adversary tools, techniques, and tactics.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts as applied to cybersecurity, analytics, detection, or operational automation.
  • Broad understanding of network architecture and network security methods, including capabilities and limitations.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications industry threats, targeting, and attack surfaces.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Strong executive‑level communication skills, with the ability to distill detailed concepts, strategies, and themes into digestible content for senior leadership consumption.
  • Highly organized, self‑directed, and capable of leading delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and AI‑driven concepts into clear operational and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CSO AI Director to translate CSO’s AI strategy into executable delivery plans aligned with CSO priorities and enterprise risk objectives.
  • Act as coordination hub for the CSO AI program to drive end‑to‑end delivery oversight for AI cyber capabilities, including planning, execution, tracking, risk identification, and remediation.
  • Facilitate the AI program operating model, including intake, prioritization, delivery cadence, dependency management, and escalation paths.
  • Establish and enforce delivery standards, governance, and operating rhythms for the CSO AI program.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to enhance cyber operations, threat intelligence workflows, and decision‑making.
  • Anticipate delivery risks, dependencies, and resourcing gaps.
  • Proactively drive execution progress, escalate issues, and drive resolution.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and technical SMEs to gather requirements and translate them into actionable delivery plans.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to collect status, risks, and milestones for AI cyber delivery initiatives.
  • Ensure all cyber delivery commitments are clearly documented, tracked, and reported within approved information and delivery management systems.
  • Maintain and continuously improve delivery artifacts, including roadmaps, operating procedures, playbooks, and process documentation.
  • Develop and deliver executive‑level reporting, dashboards, and briefings on AI cyber delivery strategy, objectives, progress, and outcomes.
  • Define, track, and analyze KPIs and performance metrics to measure delivery effectiveness, operational impact, and AI program maturity.
  • Translate complex technical and AI‑driven insights into clear, concise, and decision‑ready communications for senior leadership.
  • Provide forward‑looking insights, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve cyber delivery performance.
  • Serve as a liaison between CSO AI leadership, delivery teams, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across CSO and other business units.
  • Coordinate delivery dependencies across teams and organizations to ensure on‑time, high‑quality execution tied to CSO priorities and AI initiatives.
  • Lead and facilitate delivery reviews, planning sessions, and operational forums; capture outcomes and drive follow‑through.
  • Develop and drive awareness, education, and training campaigns related to AI initiatives and available technologies and tools.
  • Maintain fluency and awareness of AI technologies, other emerging technologies such as Quantum, threat intelligence platforms, cyber analytics, and emerging adversary tactics.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and translate highly technical cybersecurity and AI concepts for delivery planning and executive decision‑making.
  • Apply understanding of the Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Lifecycle to AI‑enabled detection, analysis, and response use cases.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and methodologies supporting AI cyber delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on how AI can be responsibly and securely applied to cybersecurity operations.
