This is Hybrid role (4 days in office /1 days remote) About your team: You will join Interactive National Trust Bank's Agency Securities Lending division. As Director, Agency Securities Lending you will lead a high-performing team operating at the intersection of trading, risk management, borrower relationships, and client delivery playing a critical role in the firm's broader markets and custody business. This is a team where ownership, strategic thinking, and relationship expertise are highly valued, with direct visibility at the senior leadership level.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years in securities finance with significant agency lending and streetside relationship experience at a custodian, dealer or prime.
  • Proven P&L impact from trading or managing securities lending / repo books and from price/term negotiations with borrowers.
  • Strong knowledge of global equity and/or fixed income lending markets, collateral management and relevant regulatory expectations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications (CFA/FRM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the agency securities lending platform, managing trading, risk, borrower relationships and client delivery.
  • Run daily equity and/or fixed income lending activity, including pricing, allocations and inventory deployment.
  • Own and grow key streetside relationships (broker‑dealers, primes, hedge funds); negotiate pricing, structures and term.
  • Deliver revenue, spread and balance‑sheet efficiency targets for your book.
  • Monitor and enforce desk‑level risk and limit frameworks (counterparty, collateral, tenor, concentration).
  • Support beneficial owner growth: input to program design, performance reviews, RFPs and due‑diligence meetings.
  • Partner with custody operations and technology to maintain a stable, scalable platform and resolve issues quickly.
  • Coach and supervise junior traders / analysts on the desk.
