Boston College Law School seeks a Director of Advocacy Programs to lead and strengthen its comprehensive Advocacy Program within the Center for Experiential Learning. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Experiential Learning, the Director will provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership for a program that supports more than 100 students annually through mock trial, moot court, negotiation, client counseling, and other advocacy experiences. The Director will help ensure rigorous, practice-based learning opportunities that prepare students to become effective, ethical, and practice-ready lawyers while advancing the Law School's national reputation for excellence in advocacy training. The Director will teach and coach students; develop and oversee training and simulation materials; coordinate in-house and external competitions; supervise the Board of Student Advisors and, as needed, work-study students; recruit and support adjunct coaches, judges, mentors, and other volunteers; and collaborate with faculty, staff, alumni, bar associations, and community partners. The Director will also coordinate events and communications, help develop and monitor the program budget, and lead strategic planning for the Advocacy Program, including opportunities for alumni engagement, fundraising, sponsorships, and grants.
