CookUnity
•$240,000 - $270,000

About The Position

CookUnity is a chef-focused food marketplace founded in 2018. The company delivers chef-crafted, ready-to-eat meals and is expanding beyond delivery with a mission to empower chefs to nourish the world. The Director, Advanced Analytics will lead CookUnity’s Advanced Analytics function, helping the business understand performance, identify opportunities, and make better decisions across product performance, retention, and growth. This leader will partner with Product, Finance, Operations, and senior leadership to turn complex business questions into rigorous analyses and actionable recommendations. The role will explain performance drivers, measure initiative impact, and guide product priorities and business investments. This is a hands-on, player-coach leadership role. The Director will tackle complex analytical problems, develop the team, provide technical direction, and raise the quality and impact of its work. The role will also shape the team’s structure, priorities, and ways of working as the business evolves. Its focus is advanced analytics, experimentation, and measurement, in partnership with separate Data Science/ML and Engineering teams responsible for deploying models into products and systems. Success at six months includes establishing clear ownership and priorities for Advanced Analytics, assessing team capabilities and recommending an optimal structure, and strengthening standards for analytical quality, experimentation, and measurement. At 12 months, success includes sustained improvements in analytical rigor, team capabilities, and business impact; developing talent through coaching and clear performance expectations; and delivering insights that inform product decisions and drive measurable retention and growth outcomes.
