About The Position

The Director Accounting Services - Enterprise Operations ensures that departmental and functional procedures, internal controls, and reporting conform to company procedures, corporate policies, and state and federal regulations and statutes while directing specific areas within the overall department operation. This role requires maintaining an understanding of Finance concepts, methods, standards, principles, and technology, and making sound decisions and recommendations based on that understanding. The position serves as a Finance thought leader and technical resource for the department, division, and/or enterprise, supporting the strategic plan for the Finance Projects Department consistent with the strategic vision of MGM Resorts International Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC). The Director will partner with leaders to set strategic direction, guide and influence people, processes, and resources, and build trusting relationships with business leaders. They will communicate Finance-related concepts efficiently and effectively, think analytically, focus on the big picture while understanding the impact of details, and comprehend how the business works. This role involves recommending strategy and implementation design for new business or increased business volumes, managing service level (SLA) expectations, performance metrics and KPIs, establishing goals, monitoring key metrics, executing analysis and reporting, and enhancing processes for compliance. Additionally, the Director will build and develop personnel to sustain a high-quality team, manage, develop, and engage personnel to motivate elevated performance, and support Company strategies and business plans. The role requires adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining focus on the broader business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the hospitality, gaming, or resort industry.
  • Demonstrates strong operational knowledge, ability to work in fast-paced environments, and a focus on delivering high-quality guest experiences.
