About The Position
Miller Pipeline is looking for experienced Directional Drill Operators and Locators who are skilled in safely drilling and pulling pipe. The ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, previous experience in directional drilling operations, and a solid understanding of underground utilities. This role is crucial in building and maintaining America's infrastructure.
Requirements
- Prior directional drilling experience.
- Ability to travel around the area.
- Valid driver/operator license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.
- Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer’s operator qualifications.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively operate all directional drill equipment.
- Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.
- Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.
- Ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations for the safety of the crew and public.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.
- Interact with customers to explain the work procedures necessary at the worksite/residence.
- Complete project paperwork as required by the customer.
