Requirements

  • Must possess a valid AZ driver license with clean record
  • Requires ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Successfully completes Safety Steward training within 90 days of hire
  • Prepared to learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Requires attention to detail while following instruction
  • Complete commitment to safety and quality while following industry accepted standards and practices

Responsibilities

  • Safely uses hand tools, including pneumatic, battery and hydraulic
  • Operates machinery after training
  • Consistently punctual and dependable
  • Communicates clear direction to crew members
  • Ensures crewmembers follow all safety policy criteria
  • Accountable to complete job-related tracking of production, time & as-built information
  • Responsible for Job Hazard Analysis upon arrival at job site
  • Performs vehicle and equipment safety checks
  • Places PS cabinets and commercial power feed conduits
  • Wires back up battery systems and PS modules
  • Installs Fiber ODN & OLT Cabinets and power conduits as needed
  • Hangs MDU wall mount lock boxes
  • Works with crew to pull fiber and or coaxial cables
  • Interprets utility locating marks
  • Reads with understanding gov’t agency permit dwgs
  • Comprehends fiber and coax design prints
  • Aptitude to correlate map locations to field reality
  • Skill to locate and repair damaged conduit and or cable
  • Competence to work independently as needed
  • Capacity to offer solutions to field issues
