About The Position

This is a fantastic position for anyone interested in working in the health care or social work fields. We welcome current or former Caregivers, CNAs, and DSPs as well as caring individuals without previous, formal experience. We promote from within and many of our administrators, directors, and managers started with AID in entry level positions! Seeking: Full Time Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. As a DSP you would be working in an assisted living residential home, but may be required to transport a client or go with them to an activity in the community. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma/GED
Valid Driver’s License
2+ years experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
Current Auto Insurance
valid CPR and First Aid

Nice To Haves

CNA/HHA preferred but not required
Experience working with Individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred but not required.
Basic computer skills
