About The Position

Terrapin House is seeking caring, dependable Direct Support Staff to provide one-on-one support to a young adult with autism in the Quakertown area. This position focuses on helping an individual live a meaningful life at home and in the community while providing consistency, structure, and positive support.

Requirements

• Applicants must meet at least one of the following qualifications: 1-2 years experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, behavioral health needs, or related human service experience
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in: Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health Or a related field
• Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
• Candidates with extensive experience supporting individuals with autism may be considered if they are willing to obtain NADD certification.
