About The Position
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities? Spark Community is looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Direct Support Providers to join our team! As a Direct Support Provider, you’ll work one-on-one with adults in their homes and community, helping them live safe, meaningful, and empowered lives. Your support helps foster independence and confidence. This position requires availability for overnight shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Valid auto insurance
- Pre-employment drug screening required (includes marijuana for safety-sensitive roles)
- Background and maltreatment checks required
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities preferred
