Direct Support Professionals Needed for Day Program
About The Position
We are looking for Direct Support Professionals to join our team! You will be directly working with clients, following individual service plans onsite at our group's Day Program. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets our client needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health Care, Direct Support Professional or work as an Independent Provider with disabled persons is highly desired. Morning and afternoon availability as well as valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of valid vehicle insurance is REQUIRED for this role. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driver’s license
- Clean Driving Record
- Valid and current vehicle insurance
- CPR certification (Training Resources Provided if not Certified)
- DSP accreditation certificate recognized by The Ohio DODD (Training Resources Provided if not Certified)
- Medication administration certificate recognized by The Ohio DODD (Training Resources Provided if not Certified)
- Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities
- Provides transportation to appointments and community activities
- Supports meal preparation and feeding
- Administers medications and monitors health
- Promotes independence through life skills training
- Encourages participation in social and recreational therapy and outings

- Documents services accurately and communicates effectively with the team
- Supports individuals with dignity, respect, and a person-centered approach
