Direct Support Professionals (DSP) at The Crisis Service and Diagnostic CenterAbout River Edge Behavioral Health:Serving more than 10,000 Georgians, River Edge continues to be one of the state's leading resources for mental health, substance use disorder treatments, and supports as well as individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families, and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders, or developmental disabilities.The Crisis Service and Diagnostic Center is a program designed to offer individual tailored assistance and brief (up to 90-day) stabilization for a maximum of sixteen (16) adults aged 18 and above, who have intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or concurrent mental health diagnoses. These individuals are experiencing psychiatric symptoms and/or significant emotional/behavioral changes that negatively impact their functioning and jeopardize their ability to stay in their usual home environment.
