Join our Norfolk team in Oceanview as a Direct Support Professional and help individuals with developmental disabilities live their best lives – all while enjoying a fun, flexible job with room to grow. Requirements

• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

• Ability to assist individuals with completing activities of daily living.
• Experience through education or work history that demonstrates reliability/dependability.
• Skill to complete satisfactorily: Medication Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, First Aid/CPR, Mandt, and other requirements associated with orientation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment.
• Skill in locating and accessing community resources.

• Accompany individuals to concerts, amusement parks, and community outings.
• Assist individuals in building independence and reaching their goals.
• Administer medications (with appropriate training and certification).
• Assist individuals with completing activities of daily living.
