About The Position

Wendell Foster is interested in hiring energetic Direct Support Professionals for our Intermediate Care Facility to join the team of #DifferenceMakers! This is a part-time position with hours from 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM, totaling 22-24 hours a week. The new hourly rate starts at $16.00.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Possession of valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Currently possess or able to complete first aid and CPR certification (training provided)
• Communicate well with others including staff and our individuals

Responsibilities

• Support our individuals direct care needs including, but not limited to: Getting dressed, assisting with baths and showering, toileting and hygiene needs, feeding, Assist with walking and/or wheelchair mobility, occasionally preparing meals and snacks per dietary card
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
• Understand individual’s rights and display respect and dignity when interacting with individuals.
