Requirements

Valid Driver's License required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and FBI fingerprinting.
Ability to complete paid training requirements, including CPR, First Aid, Recipient Rights, Universal Precautions, and State-required Direct Care Worker Training.
Ability to assist individuals with mobility and personal care needs.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with personal care, daily living activities, and personal hygiene.
Help prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home.
Transport residents to medical appointments, recreational activities, and community outings.
Follow Physician Orders, Nursing Care Plans, and Person-Centered Plans.
Complete daily documentation and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and team members.
Encourage independence while providing compassionate support.
Assist with household responsibilities including cooking, laundry, shopping, and housekeeping.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and ensure the health and safety of residents.
Build positive relationships while treating every individual with dignity and respect.
