About The Position

Merakey is hiring a Direct Support Professional for its program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role supports individuals by following their Individual Support Plans and encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them toward their goals. Work takes place in a variety of settings, including parks and sensory gardens, with opportunities to support social and communication skills. The position also involves assisting with hygiene and personal care and teaching daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry. No experience is required; paid training is provided.

The listed pay rate is $16.75. The alternating overnight schedule is Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. one week, and Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next week.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A verifiable high school diploma or GED is preferred.
