About The Position

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team at their program in Mullica Hill, NJ. The role involves creating long-term impacts on individuals' lives by encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve their goals. This includes fostering pride by teaching daily living activities like housekeeping and laundry. Work is performed in accordance with appropriate procedures under the supervision of the House Manager. The DSP will assist individuals with daily and personal activities to enhance their independence.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
Prefer candidates have their own transportation.
