About The Position

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join their team in Lansdale, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on consumers' lives by encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve their goals. Responsibilities include following the Individual Support Plan, assisting with daily hygiene and personal care, and teaching daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm. Candidates can earn up to $18.00/hour with an additional $2/hour shift differential.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential

Nice To Haves

High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred
Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred

Responsibilities

Following the Individual Support Plan
Encouraging, mentoring, and coaching individuals to achieve their goals
Assisting with daily hygiene and personal care
Teaching individuals to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry
