About The Position

The position of Direct Support Professional (DSP) is an entry level direct support caregiver position. Working within the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Central Oregon Collective and under limited supervision, the DSP provides assistance to the organizations clients with their activities of daily living (ADLs). Central Oregon Collective provides free, paid training and we promote within so for individuals looking for a career opportunity and a place to grow, this could be for you. Requirements

Pass Criminal History Background Check
Be 18 years of age or older
Possess a valid Oregon Driver License or State issued ID

Responsibilities

Hands on involvement with residents daily routine and needs
Assistance for residents to perform their personal care, including hygiene, grooming, exercise, range of motion, bladder and bowel care
Dispensing medications
Maintain a clean and attractive home
Assist in preparing nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
Interact respectfully with clients by encouraging support to make choices, develop independence, and to participate in all areas within the community, as well as working with clients 1:1
Completion of all daily documentation
Provide transportation utilizing company vehicles and supervision to ensure residents consistently access and engage in preferred community activities
