Requirements

Valid driver's license
Reliable personal vehicle available for client transportation
Current automobile insurance
High school diploma or GED
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Basic computer skills
Ability to pass the Family Care Safety Registry screening and criminal background check

Responsibilities

Assisting individuals with daily living activities and community involvement
Encouraging independence while providing compassionate support
Administering medications after training and according to agency policies
Documenting services provided and progress toward individual goals
Monitoring health needs and reporting changes when necessary
Following individualized care plans
Safely transporting individuals to appointments and community activities
Completing required documentation, mileage logs, incident reports, and other records accurately and on time
