About The Position

Lifesteps, a local human service agency with over 100 years of experience, is hiring compassionate and caring Direct Support Professionals (Caregivers) for the Beaver Falls and Chippewa, PA areas. This role involves working with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting. Direct Care Staff assist individuals with their daily living skills, home care tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping, personal care assistance, medication administration, and goal attainment. Lifesteps offers steady part-time hours (24 hours per week) with flexible scheduling, including Mornings, Evenings, or Overnights, or a combination. Full-time hours are also available. No experience is necessary as paid training is provided.

Requirements

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a home health aide or direct support professional

Responsibilities
