About The Position

Independent Home Health is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) throughout Luzerne County, PA. As a DSP, you'll provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build independence, participate in their communities, and work toward personal goals. We have opportunities that may include daytime, evening, and weekend hours depending on current client needs and your availability.

Requirements

• Caring, patient, and dependable
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
• Comfortable working independently after required training is completed
• Strong communication and attendance
• Willingness to complete required DSP/ODP training

Nice To Haves

• Previous DSP, caregiving, home care, behavioral health, or human services experience is helpful, but not required for every opportunity.
