Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Swing Shift – No Experience Needed!
About The Position
Renewed Horizons is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for swing shifts to support adults with developmental disabilities. You’ll play a vital role in helping participants thrive in a supportive, home-like setting — while enjoying consistent hours and impactful work. Whether you're a student, parent, or someone looking for extra income, swing shifts offer flexibility, higher pay opportunities, and a better work-life balance! Requirements
- No experience needed; paid training is provided
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow care plans
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (training can be provided if not certified)
Responsibilities
- Support daily routines – Assist with meal prep, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Engage with participants – Foster a supportive and positive living environment
- Encourage independence – Help participants build life skills and confidence
- Be a mentor – Provide guidance and companionship in a meaningful way
- Assist with outings & activities – Support with participating in community events
