The Direct Support Professional works on an interdisciplinary team that delivers superior quality of service and provides appropriate activities in a safe and healthy environment within the home and community setting. This role involves assisting clients with basic living skills and daily personal tasks, providing transportation, maintaining good communication among staff, and accurately completing all required documentation. The position also entails strictly following documentation for FTA vehicles and Medicaid guidelines, reporting incidents, assisting in client Plan of Care, following medication management, organizing recreational activities, and serving as a positive role model. Additionally, the DSP will assist in the maintenance of FCC facilities, grounds, and vehicles, attend necessary training, and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA policies. This is a safety-sensitive, full-time position.
