About The Position

Connections Services, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work with residents in their group homes located in Bloomington, MN. DSPs provide caregiver services to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them in various aspects of their daily lives and promoting their quality of life. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Over the age of 18.
• People-oriented.
• Adaptable and flexible.
• Dependable.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to do personal cares for residents, including bathing, toileting, dressing, administering medications, and lifts.

Nice To Haves

• No degree is required.
• No experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Providing caregiver services to residents, including personal care when appropriate and necessary.
• Teaching and maintaining skills.
• Cooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistance.
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities.
• Participating in the development of Individual Program Plans.
• Medication administration.
• Participating in recreational activities with residents.
