About The Position

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals for its Philadelphia program. The role supports individuals in achieving their goals and building independence in a variety of settings. Following each individual's Support Plan, the Direct Support Professional encourages, mentors, and coaches individuals while supporting social and communication skills, daily hygiene and personal care, and daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry. No experience is required; paid training is provided.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Verifiable high school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow each individual's Individual Support Plan.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals to achieve their goals.
• Support individuals in social and communication skill development in a variety of settings.
• Assist with daily hygiene and personal care.
• Teach and support daily living activities, including housekeeping and laundry.
