About The Position
Indera is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist an 18-year-old female in Clay, NY. The role involves supporting her in community engagement and social interaction with her peers. This includes accompanying her to events like Friday night Magic the Gathering, gaming, crafts, library visits, Friends connections events, festivals, and other activities of interest. The position is part-time, with potential for additional hours serving other individuals. The ideal candidate is creative, engaging, active, patient, and willing to travel. Service is ideally needed on Thursdays and Fridays from 4-10 pm.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.

Responsibilities

- Provide support to other individuals receiving services at the agency if additional hours are available.
