About The Position

We are seeking a Part-time Direct Support Professional Caregiver to join our team to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday Awake Over-Night 11pm-8am in the Aberdeen, Maryland area. You will assist in the daily care of (2) adult program participants with intellectual disabilities. Virtuous, Inc. is a fee for service non-profit organization licensed by the State of Maryland Department of Health. Our services are person-centered driven and include an array of supports and services that are meaningful to our staff and program participants.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or other related fields
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with program participants
• Clear background check
• Current drivers license and motor vehicle record with no more than 2 points
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation
• Assistance with activities
• Assist with administration of medication
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
