About The Position

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our residential program, you will empower and transform the lives of adults (ages 22+) with Autism and developmental disabilities. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where individuals can grow, thrive, and achieve greater independence by supporting them with daily routines and fostering skill-building.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid and current U.S. driver’s license with at least 1 year of licensed driving experience required.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to support adults with diverse communication and behavioral needs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with adults or individuals with special needs (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Support adults with daily routines including hygiene, meals, dressing, and medication.
• Create a positive, structured environment that encourages communication, socialization, and skill-building.
• Use behavior support strategies to promote emotional regulation and reduce challenging behavior.
• Partner with clinical, familial, and healthcare teams to support individualized treatment plans.
• Provide transportation and community integration support for outings, appointments, and program transitions.
